Design of Experiment Definition
Design of experiment which is often abbreviated to DOE is referring to a systematic and consistent approach to a statistical methodology of analyzing and interpreting controlled tests. The purpose is for evaluating values of a single parameter or a group of parameters determining what effect they cause on the required output or a response.
There are many practical and scientific use benefits of design of experiment such as getting to the bottom of a behavioral relationship of responses to their function and figuring out the ways to optimize the response. This is typically conducted by looking at the change in one or several variables.
