Comparison Tests

Comparison tests – allow you to test multiple versions of your prototypes to determine which one works best in terms of usability and desirability (preference testing). It evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of two or more products or designs based on real-world user experience.

The goal of this type of testing is to find out how different variables affect overall performance.

Examples of comparison tests include comparing alternative frameworks, comparing a design before and after, or comparing a design to competitors’ designs.
