Canonic Perspective Definition

Canonic Perspective – is a view that most represents an object. This is the best view from which an object can be recognized. It is usually the image that comes to mind spontaneously when we try to remember an object.

The researchers went around the world and asked people of various nationalities and cultures to draw a cup of coffee. Their results are actually very precise: each and every person drew the cup as if he were looking at it from the right or the left, representing himself as being slightly above it. This is what is called canonical perspective.

This perspective of everything looks like the best and simultaneously the most recognizable, as it is the one where we perceive objects in reality. This trait that binds us together is a very assisting element to those who are web designers, as it allows us to better comprehend what the perceptive needs of users are.
