Color Weakness Definition

Color Weakness

Colоr Weakness – is the inability to distinguish between colors with a low degree of saturation: for example, the inability to see the red оf a blurred pink or the blue of a dark blue.

In this case, more saturated colors should be used for users with color weakness.
It is also a reduced ability to distinguish colors compared to the standard for normal human color vision. When a person suffers from color blindness, also called color vision deficiency (CVD), they usually have difficulty distinguishing between certain colors, such as yellow and orange, green and brown, pink and gray, or blue and purple.

The following types of colоr weakness are also distinguished: Achromatopsia, Anomalous Trichromats, Cone, Monochromats, and Dichromats.
