Foveate Definition

Foveate

Foveate — a complex term used in anatomy and botany to describe having pits or depressions, being pitted. Our vision is focused in the center of retina providing the highest concentration of vision with high resolution. It allows our fovea to move eyes in the right direction according to our focus and concentrate on it without any additional movements. Simultaneously you detect motions with your eyes and automatically focus and sharpen your vision.

You can implement this knowledge in UX design since people who observe your digital product will focus their attention and vision on various elements and it’s essential to be aware of different points that affect users’ attention and the ball is in your court in this situation as well.
