Chromatic Aberration Definition
Chromatic Aberration — effect of color distortion that is consequence of lens dispersion which stands for being most noticeable with purple and red colors. This term is reffering refers to color fringing and is widely used in UX and graphic design as a possibility to cause various colors on the edge of the object that is printed or pictured on the screen.
Both material lenses and our eyes perceive colors very differently, we can’t focus red and blue rays on our retina, so that we can’t see these colors and it causes many problems. Such a colour distortion doesn’t contribute the awareness of colors which may lead to blurring picture, incorrect perception of real colors, and this is crucial for UX designers who create graphic elements.
