Cascading Menus Definition

Cascading Menus

Cascading Menus – is a software development process model, one of the first ones to be used in software engineering. Each phase is conducted one after the other, and each activity brings about some intermediate output (called “milestone” in PRINCE 2) used as an input for the next phase, therefore the origin of the term “cascade.”

On top of this, every step of the process is executed only once. It is also known as a secondary menu that appears while you are holding the cursor over an item on the main menu.
