Biomechanics Definition

Biomechanics – is a science studying, on the ideas and methods of mechanics, properties of biological objects (muscle and bone tissues), patterns of adaptation to the environment, behavior and mechanical movements in them at all levels of organization and in various states, including periods of development and aging, as well as with pathologies.
Biomechanics is used in medical diagnostics, the creation of tissue and substitutes of organs, for obtaining methods of influencing the processes in living organisms, to learn about the possibilities of human movements, and protecting a man from harmful effects of the environment during its functioning in extreme conditions.
