Internet Archive Definition
Internet Archive – is a digital library with Brewster Kale as the founder and owner, and it has been the pioneer of advocates for free information. It is an institution involved in making freely available collections of websites, software, music, audio-visual, and printed content for the public. It promotes the concept of the interactive and open internet. They have extended collections in the Internet Archive of print materials, software, videos, audio files, images, concerts, and in the Wayback Machine, the archiving of web pages. The main purpose is knowledge that is accessible to everybody.
Internet Archive gives the public a possibility for uploading into its data cluster and downloading from it. Most of the data is collected by automatic web crawlers aiming to keep much of the public Internet alive for a long period. Besides, from inside the Archive, very diverse types of book digitization projects are conducted, which almost cover all the areas and are among the most massive in the world.
