Documentation

Documentation is referring to a generalized way of writing down every requirement, project plan, an architecture of the design, target users and their needs and many other details recorded in the material. Documentation explains the challenges and objectives with the project, how the technical specialists are planning to approach the project and delegates the roles of each member on the team.

The main purpose of well structured documentation is to keep all stakeholders and specialists on the same track allowing for a more organized and streamlined development process. On average documentation is divided into two parts: external which is aimed at clients and users and internal which documents the work processes and standardization.
