Development Standards

Development standards are referring to the protocols and documentations as well as general best practices which are outlining the rules to which the developers need to adhere during their development process. These standards can be both universally agreed upon ort differ from organization to organization.

The development standards in each development methodology are also acceptably different based on the goals and objectives of the project. Speaking of the global standards for development there are several entities which set compliances into place. In particular these are ISO (International Organization for Standardization), IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) and IEEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineers).
