Fagan inspection Definition
Fagan inspection — formal software inspection method for reviewing system specifications, finding defects in code (development) documents, designs, source code, and all of this to predefine and detect defects as early as possible within the software development process. How is it being conducted? — a team of developers and testers, stakeholders optionally provide inspection process within the documentation following a structured agenda.
The process starts with preparations of relevant materials — code documentation or else, an defines what is needed to by analyzed, then you are attending overview meeting presenting documentation purpose, key features and more. The third part of the investigation process requires participation of each developer, tester and stakeholder look for defects and define them.
