Cursor Definition

Cursor means the point-device for visual indication of the present position or location in the interface or a data set. The latter may have quite diversified forms or shapes. These will be subject to change because of switching, movement, or other explicit commands that invoke the cursor and should clearly show its meaning. In other simple words, “cursor” denotes at its simplest the location in a document over which mouse movement should be taking place on entries, lines, or characters.

This, therefore, presents the choice to users of making an effective choice, changing and manipulating data. This therefore means that they are very important instruments that end up getting the data back to the end user or guides on moving through interfaces when working on large pieces of data, a situation whereby it offers interaction to the end user on very many types of manipulations in making more performing and usable software applications or systems.
