Computer System Definition

Computer system is referring to a complete setup of operational hardware, software and other components needed in order to configure the functional performance of a computer. These components are often including the system of input, a single processing unit, the storage device and a component for output.

Other components which are crucial to proper operation of a computer system also include operating system programs, drivers, a motherboard, a memory card etc. The interconnection of each of these individual component are what is resulting in a computer being capable of performing and carrying out a variety of tasks.
